The Challenge

I have a lot of cookbooks that I have amassed over the years and many of them I haven't hardly cracked open. On top of that, I am continually finding recipes online that I would love to try: so those get printed out and put into a notebook. Needless to say, I have A LOT of recipes.

I have come up with a challenge for myself to get through these books. Try at least two new recipes a week. This blog is to keep me motivated in this endeavor. If I have someone, or something, that I have to be accountable to, then I will do it more readily. So, this blog is going to make me accountable.

I will share all of the recipes I try, note all of the changes that I do to them as I go along (because I am notorious for tinkering with recipes) and when I finally hit upon a winner I will label it for future reference. 

It will be so amazing to have all of my recipes organized, cataloged so that we will always know our favorites (which will make meal planning a heck of a lot easier!) and hopefully get to a point where I can get rid of all those blasted cook books.
