Cheesy Chili Popcorn


We're always looking for a fun girls night snack while we are playing games and watching movies. This was our second experiment with popcorn. Jess is addicted to popcorn, so it's fun to come up with different ways to eat it. This is great if you are in the mood for something salty with a little extra flavor.


Ingredients

1/2 cup unpopped popcorn
2 Tb. butter
1 tsp. chili powder
1/4 cup garlic powder
2-3 Tb. grated Parmesan cheese

Directions
  1.  Preheat oven to 325 degrees
  2. Pop popcorn as usual. While popcorn is popping, melt butter and mix in the chili powder and garlic powder. Stir the butter mixture and the Parmesan cheese into the popped popcorn and stir until evenly mixed.
  3. Spread popcorn onto a baking sheet and bake in preheated oven for about 10 minutes - just long enough to bake the cheese onto the popcorn.
  4. May be stored in an airtight container for a day or two.
