These are the best chocolate chip cookies I have ever eaten in my life - and I've eaten a lot! My sister-in-law gave me this recipe years ago, and I have never gone back. Healthy it is not, but hello..... cookie.
With vanilla pudding in the dough it makes your cookies extremely soft (I HATE crispy cookies!!!) and has an extra wonderful vanilla flavor.
Ingredients
1 cup butter
1/2 cup sugar
2/4 cup brown sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 small pkg. instant vanilla pudding
2 eggs
1 tsp baking soda
2 1/4 cup flour
1 pkg. chocolate chips (for this post I used half chocolate and half white chocolate)
Directions
In a large mixing bowl add butter, sugar, brown sugar, vanilla and dry pudding. Beat with an electric mixer until extra creamy. Beat in eggs until light and fluffy.
Add baking soda and stir until thoroughly mixed in. Add flour and mix well. Stir in chocolate chips.
Bake at 375 degrees, on ungreased cookie sheet for 8-10 minutes. You will want to remove them from the oven when they are slightly under done. Remember - no crispy cookies here! Cool on a cooling rack.
**If you are a real choco-holic you may substitute chocolate pudding for the vanilla. I have done this before and it is pretty good, but I am not a huge chocolate fan so I prefer the vanilla.
